BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy
Emily Kneale is a Chartered Physiotherapist specialising in musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. She qualified from Oxford Brookes University in 2010. Emily began working at a nursing centre helping set up the new physiotherapy department. After 18 months she then went on to work at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital gaining experience in both inpatients and outpatients before specialising in orthopaedic and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. At Basingstoke and North Hampshire hospital Emily worked alongside consultants in fracture clinic as well as taught hydrotherapy. In 2016 Emily moved in to private practice and became full time at Circle Hospital in Reading. She is now part time at Circle and 21st Century Clinic.
Emily enjoys treating all musculoskeletal conditions using a variety of techniques. She has a specialist interest in dance injuries and ante-natal and post-natal physiotherapy.
Emily also teaches Pilates and is trained by the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Instiute (APPI) to Matwork level 3. Post-graduate training also includes a diploma in Sports Massage, Acupuncture, Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) and Biodex Isokinetic Assessment.
