Louise Baines

Associate Chiropractor

MChiro MMCA

Having routinely had her horse seen by a Chiropractor Louise realised the benefits to her own health after suffering a short spell of back pain herself. Louise has a 5-year-old son and found continuing Chiropractic care helped her enormously through pregnancy and postnatally.

Having had a 14-year career in the Logistics industry, Louise completed her Master’s Degree in Chiropractic in 2015 and is registered with the General Chiropractic Council.

Having already qualified in Remedial and Holistic Massage in 2010 Louise has since also added Western Medical Acupuncture, Neuromuscular soft tissue technique and Diversified Chiropractic techniques to her range of skills. She uses a combination of these to compliment
Chiropractic care for her patients. Louise enjoys keeping her knowledge and skills up to date by regularly attending seminars and post graduate courses.

Louise is also a qualified breast feeding peer supporter and developed a special interest in the use of slings/carriers, completing her final year thesis on the benefits and risks of their use, relating to musculoskeletal pain in early parenthood.  She enjoyed helping other mums in this regard when on maternity leave, and is planning to develop her skills in pre and postnatal Chiropractic care in the next year.

In her spare time, she enjoys weightlifting and does CrossFit regularly. She also enjoys walking in the countryside with her delinquent terrier Desmond and chasing her son on his bike.
