Podiatrist, HCPC registered
BSc (Hons) Podiatry
Louise graduated from Plymouth University with a BSc (Hons) in Podiatry and spent a few years working in the NHS before moving into the private sector.
She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and a member of the College of Podiatrists and Chiropodists.
After taking some time off to raise her two young boys, Louise has joined 21st Century Clinic as our newest member of staff. She is qualified to assess, diagnose and treat a range of foot care problems varying from diabetic foot care issues to biomechanical foot assessments.
She recently completed a Low Level Laser Therapy training, which is used for numerous treatments, however in Podiatry it is proving to be a successful treatment of Fungal Nails. She is passionate about Biomechanics and is currently undergoing further training in the area focusing on the benefits of orthotic use to help reduce the pain associated with problems in peoples gait and their foot function.
Louise adores spending time in the outdoors with her family, and firmly believes in the benefits of regular exercise for our physical health and equally on our mental health. As a Podiatrist, her goal is to keep patients moving, without pain, and so make the most of each and every day.
